Our current interest is changing and the topic is: Jungle. We will have animals hidden around the Pre-school and we will be using our torches, magnifying glasses, binoculars and telescopes to find them. We will be telling jungle stories and seeing what animal names we already know and learning some new ones to expand our vocabulary. We will be making animal masks too.

As well as expanding our vocabulary, we will be joining in with the Mr. Tongue activity to make our mouths really strong for speech sounds. We will be listening to our sounds CD to identify which animal is making the noise and listening to sounds in the environment and playing games that require listening for a cue, such as 'Simon says' and 'What's the time Mr. Wolf?'
