We will follow our curriculum focus by: Singing number songs and playing counting games. We will be looking at the numbers all around us, finding things to weigh to see which are heavier and lighter, longer or shorter. We will also be using our ‘Number of the Week’ activity to support counting and number recognition. You may wish to help your child to explore this interest or curriculum focus at home or when you are out and about. Our suggested activity is: When you are out and about, look for numbers in the environment on doors, registration plates or dustbins. Practise counting by picking an object and seeing how many you see on your way to the shops or to the park.
